Meet bus at 5:30 AM Thursday, July 2 at Career Academy parking lot next to Board of Education Office, 1303 South Peterson Avenue, Douglas. Depart exactly 6 AM. DO NOT be LATE or you will be left!!!!!
Dress for bus ride: Wear FCCLA travel shirt with business logos and long khaki shorts to knees girls with tennis shoes or flip flops. This will be only time flip flops are allowed on trip. Arrive Washington, DC approximately 12 Noon.
Dress Code At All Other Times:
Students: No FLIP FLOPS ever (only on bus ride); shorts must be to knees when touring (tennis shoes, Sperry’s, or sandals with back straps)
During Meetings; FEMALES: Red, black or white polo or oxford shirt with black or khaki dress slacks/pants/capris (no shorts), black or khaki skirt not shorter than 2 inches above the knee, black shell dress, dress shoes or sandals with back strap MALES: Red, black or white polo or oxford shirt, black dress slacks or khaki pants (no shorts), dress shoes.
NO: jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear, athletic shoes or flip flops are acceptable.
Adults: You may dress business professional during conference meetings and at all times or wear polo’s and khakis/black like kids. When judging dress professional (tie men, dress pant suit women). NO: jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear, athletic shoes or flip flops are acceptable.
State Meetings and Special Event: casual slacks, shorts to knee, jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear and tennis shoes
Schedule:
We will take our luggage to hotel and then begin our touring of DC. The fun begins!
