CAMP NEWS
As you all know, Coffee FCCLA took a trip to a little place called the FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington, Georgia this summer... for Summer Leadership Camp! Coffee Boys took home cabin of the week, and the girls all had fun trying! This year, the theme was One Step Can Change Everything; but more than that, we were inspired to take the one step toward our future. Ask anyone who went to camp and they will tell you that we had fun of epic proportions. From the Comets to Lunar, we had them all. We would especially like to thank the FFA chapter of Coffee High for being such a great addition to the Coffee FCCLA group at camp; we love you, our FFA buddies!
When you recieve your schedules, don't forget to make sure that you have your FACS classes scheduled! If you have any problems obtaining your required class, contact Mrs. Roberson for aid.
Coffee FCCLA Officer Training
Coffee FCCLA Officers for the 2015-16 school year, listen up! One of our favorite things is coming up: Officer Training. :) Training is mandatory for ALL Officers; contact Mrs. Roberson for further details.
FCCLA NATIONALS!!
Coffee FCCLA will be going to Nationals in Washington, DC this summer! Who is excited? Congragulations to all of our members who competed and advanced to Nationals; we know you worked hard to get there. But the work isn't over yet! You must get in touch with Mrs. Roberson to perfect and review your competitions before going to Nationals, so get on that. Our goal is all GOLD this year; it's up to you to make it happen.
Rush Week
What do you think about Rush Week for Coffee FCCLA? Your new officers want to excite you and all of your friends about the upcoming FCCLA year, and they think RUSH WEEK is the way to do it! You have a variety of student organizations to choose from at Coffee High, but no one will treat you like FCCLA will: we treat you like Family. Not convinced? You will be. Look out for us at Orientation on July 21st and 22nd and during the first week of school. Coffee FCCLA will blow you so far away that you know you will have to become a member. We are the cool kids, but yeah, you can still sit with us. ;)
Fall Leadership Conference and Fall Leadership Rally
You may think that it is a little early to be thinking about our fall events, but it's not! If you have your eye on a certain competition, get in touch with Mrs. Roberson; we will help you get started right away. Last year, Coffee took home the second place ribbon for the Fair Booth competition; with proper planning, that can happen again. :)
